Jay-Z Announces Release Date for New Album

Jay-Z has just announced his release date for his long-awaited album! The rap god has announced he’ll release his 11th LP entitled Blueprint 3 on September 11th.

The record will be released by Warner Music Group, and the date was chosen to pay homage to those who died on September 11th, 2001. It’s also the 8-year anniversary of the release of the first Blueprint album Jay-Z did.

As Hollyscoop previously reported, Jay-Z just split up with his longtime label Def Jam, and is currently working on a deal to bring his Roc Nation venture to Columbia records, a part of Sony Music, which his wife Beyonce is under as well. They’ll be like one happy little rap family!
