If you’re an only child and your parents are Jay-Z and Beyoncé, it’s safe to say that you’re living large.
Despite how much we can already assume that Blue Ivy is living the good life, Jay-Z is reminding us of it now. On Rick Ross’ new single, the rapper joins in and rhymes about his daughter’s lush lifestyle.
On the song, Hov describes his elaborate art collection, gold crown, and record label… The list goes on.
"Y'all should know by now, if you don't know/Millions on the wall in all my rooms,” Jay-Z raps, continuing, "couldn't f--- with my daughter's room … couldn't walk in my daughters socks."
Jay-Z ends the song, hammering the point home “I love this shit like my own daughter.”
He previously conveyed a similar message to Us Weekly.
“At the end of the day, I just know I'll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever," he said.
Along with the expensive socks that are described in the song, according to Us Weekly, the toddler has a $66 pair of Little Marc Jacobs Baby Mouse slippers and a $3,500 crib from NurseryWroks VETRO.
In addition to the financial support, Jay-Z is applying parenting techniques that he picked up from his mom and from raising his nephew. He feels like he’s doing a pretty good job with Blue Ivy… At least for now.
"Well, I mean, everyone imagines they'll be a great dad," he admitted. "Until they're teenagers saying, 'Get away from me, Dad. You're embarrassing me!' Right? Everyone imagines that, right?"
“3 Kings” is a single off Rick Ross’ fifth studio album God Forgives, I Don’t. The big man’s new release drops July 31, 2012.
