Fans in Lisbon were definitely “Waiting for Tonight” when Jennifer Lopez was in town.
The 43-year-old entertainer gave it her all during a live dress rehearsal of her “Dance Again” world tour for Portuguese fans. J.Lo took to her website to announce a free show for 1,500 people with all the fireworks included—singing, dancing, Jennifer shaking her curvy figure in multiple costume changes—that only attracted a crowd in the hundreds.
There were still a largely empty number of seats, which reportedly had members of the Latina singer-actress’ crew trying to pass off tickets to passerbys outside the Pavilhao Atlantico arena. Though those that were in the audience didn’t seem to mind that the stands weren’t filled to capacity—it just got them that much closer to her. The Bronx bombshell launched through many of her hits, high-energy dance songs and slow ballads alike.
The “Dance Again” singer got on the floor in knockout outfits created by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad like a blue leotard blinged out in sequins and tassels, a sparkly low-cut dress, and an angelic powder blue gown with a draped bow tied down the middle. Jennifer often wore Zuhair’s dresses to various red carpet events and on the judges’ panel of “American Idol.”
The singer who’s often covered by tabloids let those that came to the show into her private life through a giant screen on stage which showed photographs of her and boyfriend Casper Smart, and Jennifer’s twins Emme and Max.
Jennifer has been touring since June of this year, kicking off in Panama City, traveling across Latin America before co-headlining with Enrique Iglesias in North America.
