The singer/actress took over the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas where she gave a stunning performance of Papi. Lopez wore a short, flappy red dress while she put on an energetic performance that had the crowd screaming.
From there, Lopez left the event to hit up Pure Nightclub in Caesar’s Palace with her entourage. This is how you handle divorce, ladies. Among J.Lo’s entourage included her backup dancers, her longtime manager, Benny Medina, and Steve Bartels, President of Island Records.
At the club, one of Lopez’s backup dancers then gave her a shirtless lap dance in the club’s VIP area. J.Lo and her people sipped on Dom Perignon Rose and watched her music videos displayed on screens at the club.
I’m no Hollywood agent or manager or whatever, but I think she’s made it.
Jen graciously greeted her fans at the club, then partied in her private area until about 3:30 a.m. My mom would’ve just been getting up to bake banana bread.
At some point during the night, Bartels presented Lopez with a plaque for her first single, On The Floor having reached 3 million downloads. From there, the song played and Jen danced…on the floor. Before the whole shindig, J.Lo talked American Idol with Billboard.com:
“Everything we're doing -- because we already started auditioning and stuff like that -- it's just that we're trying to make it better," she says. "Watching the singers, we're like, 'Are they as good as our Top 24 from last year? I don't know!' So our standards are even higher than last year in a crazy way. So we'll see -- I think it's gonna be a great season."
The iHeartRadio event took place at the MGM Garden Arena on Friday and Saturday night. It was organized to celebrated the launch of the I Heart Radio app. Jay-Z, Coldplay, Kelly Clarkson and Lady Gaga also performed. The app is a social networking site the gives visitors access to over 750 stations in the U.S. You can also create custom stations that suit your musical tastes.
