American Idol contestant Jermaine Jones tweeted to fans that he’s being kicked off American Idol tonight, but how did he know his fate so early?
“Awww I will no longer b on the show,”” he wrote on twitter, though the tweet has since been deleted.
TMZ broke the story that Jermaine Jones has warrants out for his arrest, lied to police, lied to American Idol, and frightened Idol staff.
Dayumm. So anyways, he’s getting kicked off the show tonight because he’s a small time criminal, but the dismissal will probably end up being not as dramatic as it actually is but rather Ryan Seacrest pulling him onstage, saying something vague like “You know why you’re here, right?” and then Jermaine being like, “This isn’t the last of me! I’m never going to stop singing!” just like everyone on that shows says when they kicked off and then Randy will say something about “how it’s a shame that things had to end this way,” and then they will go into a video montage about Ford Focus and coke products.
So anyways, Jermaine reportedly was arrested in March and November of last year, first for getting in a fight at a motel and both times he lied about his identity. He was charged with giving false information and was arrested for having previous outstanding warrants, 3 for driving on a suspended license and 1 for disorderly conduct with an open container.
Also, Idol sources told TMZ that Jermaine was “very aggressive” backstage, once screaming at a staff member because he didn’t like his wardrobe. And, he lied to Idol risk management team about all his arrests, saying he hadn’t been in a fight since high school.
Obviously, this guy has gots to go. Watch the drama unfold on American Idol tonight.
