Jersey Shore to Get Musical

The cast of Jersey Shore loves their fist-pumping. And now you can do it with them! The official Jersey Shore soundtrack is coming out this summer.

MTV is working with Universal Republic Records on the project that will include a compilation of songs inspired by the cast. Some of the artists that will be included on the track are: Lil Jon, LMFAO, Taio Cruz, Akon, Enrique Iglesias, and Pitbill.

Amy Doyle, MTV executive vice president of music and talent programming, said in a statement, “MTV is excited to join forces with Universal Republic Records to bring the Jersey Shore Soundtrack to the show’s fans. From the clubs to the gym, there is going to be a lot of fist pumping and booty shaking going on this summer, and that’s just at my house.”

Expect the soundtrack on July 20th, right before the second season begins on MTV on July 29th. Beat that beat!
