Who knew Jesse McCartney was a big Ludacris fan? He just released a new remix of Jesse’s single "How Do You Sleep?" which is off of Jesse’s album Departure. The song, produced by Sean Garrett, is about the way you feel after a breakup. Well that’s something everyone can definitely relate to!

The idea for the track was inspired by a conversation between Garrett and McCartney during sessions about "moving on from your first true love." McCartney recently performed How Do You Sleep? on Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, the Thanksgiving Day Halftime Show as part of the Detroit Lions vs. Tennessee Titans game and Live with Regis and Kelly. He seems to be on a roll!

Jesse says of the collaboration, "I've been a fan of Luda's throughout his career and having him on this track was an amazing honor. He's innovative across the board and always brings the freshest lyrics to any track. With Sean Garrett producing this collaboration, everything came together.”

Jesse has been attracting several mainstream artists lately, and is proving himself in the music industry. He just worked with Toni Braxton, and helped write Leona Lewis’ huge hit Bleeding Love. Jesse goes on tour to promote Departure next month.
Jesse McCartney Offers To Write For David Cook
Everyone wants a piece of American Idol winner David Cook right now. And now the people who made Bleeding Love such a huge hit want to do for David. The Leona Lewis song was actually written by singer Jesse McCartney and Ryan Tedder, but then realized the song would be much better off for a girl.

And boy were they right! That song is still topping the charts! Jesse says he and Ryan plan on writing some songs for David Cook to start him off on the right foot. Do you think David will be a huge success in the industry?
