The idea for the track was inspired by a conversation between Garrett and McCartney during sessions about "moving on from your first true love." McCartney recently performed How Do You Sleep? on Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, the Thanksgiving Day Halftime Show as part of the Detroit Lions vs. Tennessee Titans game and Live with Regis and Kelly. He seems to be on a roll!
Jesse says of the collaboration, "I've been a fan of Luda's throughout his career and having him on this track was an amazing honor. He's innovative across the board and always brings the freshest lyrics to any track. With Sean Garrett producing this collaboration, everything came together.”
Jesse has been attracting several mainstream artists lately, and is proving himself in the music industry. He just worked with Toni Braxton, and helped write Leona Lewis’ huge hit Bleeding Love. Jesse goes on tour to promote Departure next month.
