Jessica Simpson Is Sticking To Country

Jessica Simpson has decided to stick with country music from here on out. She says, "I'm planning on making country music for the rest of my life, and I don't want to go back to that other world."

Jess says she went through a really tough time after her divorce from Nick, personally and professionally. But she says when she went into the studio to record Come On Over, she knew she was back.

She says there were a lot of people who didn't have faith in her being able to pull off country. She says, . "A lot of people have listened to 'Come On Over' and told me, 'I really wanted to hate it, but I like it,'" she said. "[It's] a backhanded compliment, but I'm glad it's that way and not the other way around.  I take a lot of pride in my talent and in the record I was able to put together. I'm not giving up."

It sounds like Jess has really found her calling with country!
