Jessica Simpson Recording Song With Billy Corgan

Things seem to be heating up between Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan. The two, who are also dating, are rumored to be recording a song together.

Jess posted pictures on her Twitter yesterday of the two of them in the studio working with producer Kerry Brown. As Jess usually acts in a new relationship, she seems to be very happy with Billy. The two have been dating since late 2009. She wrote, “Fun to be lost in laughter,” and then later adding: “I am blessed.”

She also tweeted, “He braids my prayers,” which we can only assumer was referring to her new boyfriend.

A friend of Jessica’s says she’s fallen hard and fast for Billy. “She has completely fallen for Billy and his easygoing, smart attitude. She says she wants to take things a lot further,” said the source.

We have a hard time seeing these two work out in the long run. What’s even scarier is thinking about what a collaboration would sound like. The Smashing Pumpkins aren’t exactly the same genre as Jess’ music. But hey, at least she seems happy for now!
