Who will save your soul… Remember those lyrics? Well, Jewel has switched gears and turned country on us. She has just recently signed a multi-album deal with a newly launched Nashville music label called the Valory Music Company.

Jewel has always had country in mind and finally decided to take the plunge on her 7th album. “I've been wanting to this record my whole career,” Jewel tells Billboard.com. She also told them that her previous music label was always afraid of doing the whole country thing, even though she had a lot of country songs on her albums.

So all you Jewel fans, don't be disappointed, because her new album which hits stores in Spring 2008 will not be any different from her other albums.
