Joe Jonas is swiftly morphing from boy band star to sought-after solo artist. He recently collaborated with Chris Brown in his first solo single, See No More. Hollyscoop got the chance to talk to the artist while he was performing in Vegas.

“Vegas is the place to be,” Jonas told us, adding that he performed three songs: Love Slayer, Fast Life and See No More. “I feel like [Vegas] is just probably 24/7 fun, like craziness. That’s what people want to get into when they’re having a good night out.”

People were curious what a Joe Jonas solo career would bring, and one thing he’s proved is that he’s come a long way since JoBro. “It’s a lot different,” Jonas says of his music. “It’s everything from Hip-Hop music to dance music, to electro. I’ve been inspired by a lot of different stuff, so I wanted to create something new for people to listen to.”

Jonas also talked to Hollyscoop about how pop music has been changing.

“I feel like a lot of people are accepting that music is kind of taking a nice change,” Jonas told us. “I really enjoy it, I love music that you hear now it’s on the radio, the fact that it all started overseas, or started somewhere small in the US country, it’s really cool to see.”

And speaking of overseas, the singer is about to join pop icon Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale tour. Britney has already featured artist Nicki Minaj and famed Vegas DJ/Jersey Shore star, Pauly D.

“I’m going on tour with Britney Spears overseas, it’s going to be awesome,” Jonas tells Hollyscoop. “The fact that I’m going to be able to get onstage in front of a crowd with her crazy audience its going to be so much fun. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Jonas has been a longtime Spears fan, so this is huge for him.

“I’m sure I’ll have words with her backstage,” Jonas says. “I’m sure we’ll hangout. I’m really looking forward to going on the road.”

We asked Joe what his favorite song was: “Toxic is always a good one,” he told us.

Jonas says in addition to Britney, he’d also like to collaborate with soulful crooner Adelle.

“Adelle is amazing. I think Tinie Tempah is really cool. Somebody like them.”

And although his music career is flourishing, Jonas has plenty of other projects on his plate:

“I’m developing a film with a buddy of mine, producer and writer,” Jonas revealed to Hollyscoop. “I’m going to be getting into that later this year. Then, on top of that, it’s going to be probably just music right now and maybe makving another record with my brothers down the line. Lot’s of stuff.”

And good news, ladies--Joe tells us he’s single.

“Yes, I’m single.”

See, I told you. Now go send him a DM.
