Joe Jonas released his first single as a solo artist today.
Joe was previously 1/3 of the Jonas Brothers. In case you aren’t an 11-year-old girl, let me break down the Jonai for you. Joe is the hot one. Nick is the talented one. And Kevin is the oldest one.
Joe’s new single, “See No More,” was co-written with Chris Brown and has a more auto-tuney R&B feel than the Pop-Rock stuff we’re used to hearing from the Jonas brother.
“See No More” lives up to the pop stuff those Disney graduates keep churning out. Charming, unmemorable, and something you’ll be forced to hear on KIISfm every morning on the drive to work for approximately the next 7 months.
Joe talks to radio B96 DJ on being a solo artist now, “Being onstage by myself…It will be different for sure. I know there's going to be that little bit of jitters that I'll have to get out of me that are just going to be there."
Joe was arguably the most charismatic of the brothers, so he shouldn’t have a hard time performing alone. However, Nick was the brother with the most music sensibilities, so it’ll be interesting to see how Joe’s solo career compares to Nick’s.
Nick Jonas was the first Jonas Brother to put out a solo album. His band “Nick Jonas and the Administration,” released their album in January of last year.
Joe Jonas’s full solo album will debut September 6, 2011.
