Jimmy Kimmel To Host AMA's

Late night comedian Jimmy Kimmel will be back in our living rooms again as he hosts the 2008 American Music Awards.

The AMAs are scheduled to air live from Los Angeles on November 23 with the Jonas Brothers and Pink belting out musical performances.

This will be Jimmy's fifth time in the lead spot and the producers couldn't be more confident with their choice. Orly Adelson, president of Dick Clark Productions, called him "a masterful host with incredible spontaneity and wit; audiences can expect a great night."

In true comedic form, Jimmy came back with a reply saying, "I agree with Orly completely." I wonder if he'll crack any jokes about his breakup with Sarah Silverman...or is that topic off limits for the night?
