The Jonas Brothers were once the hottest boy band to happen since the Backstreet Boys / N*SYNC era. They stole young girls' hearts from around the country. The brothers had their own Disney Channel show, Disney Channel movies, and released two platinum-selling albums.
Since the band's break-up in 2013, Nick has gone on to become a shirtless R&B heartthrob, Kevin has become a celebrity apprentice for Donald Trump, and Joe is off somewhere probably banging some Instagram model.
But why the heck did a platinum record selling band break-up? They could possibly be competing with One Direction, one of the highest-earning bands of today.
We finally have the real reason why the Jonas Brothers broke up.
Kevin interviewed with HuffPostLive after being booted off "Celebrity Apprentice". When asked about the break-up, he answered "Being able to play shows and travel together was great, but then once at the end there, the friction was too much and we just really needed to break away and kind of do our own things for some time… We chose to be a family, not a band."
