'Mmmurica. The land of the democracy. Do you feel strongly about something? Want to make a stand for something you believe in?

Start a petition. Get as many signatures as possible. Get 100,000, and the president has to speak on it. 

Of course, there's a difference between the legitimate issues that deserve petitions, and the type of issues only super fans (or anti-fans) deem necessary. Going with the latter, take a look at some of the most hilarious and bizarre petitions created by fans.


Justin Bieber's Deportation

Anti-Biebs created an online petition to have Justin deported and his green card revoked. The petition received nearly 300,000 signatures (remember, you need 100,000 signatures to get a response from the White House). This is how the president responded.


Beyoncé & Jay Z's Full Movie for "RUN"

6,814 signatures

The Beyhive and Jay Z fans were "devastated" after seeing the trailer for the never-being-made "RUN." The fans then petitioned for the hip-hop couple to make a full-length film.


Metallica at Glastonbury

Metallica's frontman James Hetfield agreed to narrate "The Hunt," a television documentary series on Alaska's bi-annual bear hunt. Glastonbury attendees were outraged that a festival that supports Greenpeace would allow Hetfield to headline. See how Metallica responded to the petition


Free Kesha from Her Evil Producer

Kesha's Animals started a petition to free her from her "evil" and "controlling" producer, Dr. Luke. According to the petition, Dr. Luke is controlling Kesha like a puppet, and "almost trying to dismantle her career." #FreeKesha


Make R. Kelly's "Ignition (Remix)" the National Anthem

"We, the undersigned, would like the Obama administration to recognize the need for a new national anthem, one that even a decade after its creation, is still hot and fresh out the kitchen."


Ban Deadmau5 from Performing in the United States

After the mau5 trolled Ultra Music Festival by playing an Old MacDonald remix of Martin Garrix's "Animals," EDM fans were NOT happy. Someone started a petition to ban Deadmau5 from playing any more events in the US.

A Weezer anti-fan launched a petition to raise $10 million to split up the band. The petition creator urged everyone to chip in $12 to end Weezer forever: "I beg you, Weezer. Take our money and disappear."

Swifties came to Taylor's rescue and petitioned to have the A&F shirt reading "# more boyfriends than t.s." pulled from their stores. Abercrombie & Fitch responded to the outcry and stopped selling the shirts.
