Can you belieb that Psy might be recording a track featuring Justin Bieber?! Put these two huge internet vehicles onto one piece of media, upload it to the world wide web, and I fear the internet will collapse.
In case you haven’t been on the internet all year, Psy is, of course, the musician/criminal behind “Gangnam Style,” the catchiest song of the summer after partner-in-crime Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.” The K-pop sensation sent further vibes out to the universe when he was asked if he’d be working with Justin anytime soon. Psy’s vague answer?
“So, I already have done with the next track already, so it’s going to be…” he teased BANG Showbiz. “I cannot tell you about who it’s going to be with but I’m working with someone else right now and it’s going to be huge.”
Given they both share the same in-demand manager Scooter Braun, it has many rushing to the guess that it’s Justin. However this is news to the “As Long As You Love Me” singer’s camp. “We don’t know anything about that,” a rep for the 18-year-old pop star tells Stereotude.
However, this hasn’t stopped the speculation. Justin has proven after all to be a bit of trickster (remember that “stolen laptop” that was just a stunt for his latest video “Beauty and the Beat”?), so maybe he’s just recording a duet with Psy in secret—who knows?!
It would be a foolproof move for Psy who’s already being likened to the 2012 version of the “Macarena”—a one-hit wonder for the record books. If Justin were to jump on the track, he could at least have two.
