Justin is up against what most teenage boys long for—his voice changing. The process can be a little awkward with the cracking, but it’s proving to be extra difficult for the Biebs, who’s growing up in the public eye.
Luckily Justin has his mentor Usher who has been helping him through this inevitable time. Usher has been providing him with tips to make sure his deepening vocals don’t ruin his career. And Usher should know a thing or two about success, seeing as though his career started at age 11!
Bieber tells Vibe.com, "Everyone's voice changes. Puberty is a natural thing. I have the best vocal coach in the world and we're working on my voice and doing what I need to do. It's not like as soon as you hit puberty you stop singing.”
He adds, “Usher is the best mentor in the world and he survived puberty. He tells me what to do, what not to do."
Do you think Justin can survive this big change in his voice? We think if anything it will expand his fan base! Plus, his voice (unlike so many pop artists) is actually good, so we’re sure he’ll get through it.
