Try and contain your excitement and hopefully let’s not crash twitter with this news, but Justin Bieber and his dad-figure/mentor/bestie/swag coach Usher will be teaming up for two new songs for both their upcoming albums.
The last time these two did a duet was on Bieber’s Holiday album with “The Christmas Song” and Justin’s second album with “Somebody To Love” and if you can remember all the way back to 2009 when Justin Bieber was still wearing purple hoodies and rocking the sideswept bangs, Usher appeared in his music video for “One Time.”
One of their new songs will appear on Bieber’s “Believe” album and the other will be for Usher’s forthcoming, “Looking 4 Myself.”
We know this because of twitter - the official source for breaking news, apparently.
“Now headed to a COVER SHOOT with big bro @UsherRaymondIV – we got duets on both of our albums coming,” wrote Bieber.
So this had us foaming at the mouth and wanting more! Luckily, Usher tweeted some more deets.
“Ohh..and trust we got a duet coming for “Looking 4 Myself” and “Believe” he has come a long way. Proud to see his evolution as an artist!”
If we look at the Usher/Bieber track record, their duet “Somebody To Love” debuted at No.98 and then quickly rose to the No.15 spot. Also, Bieber’s latest single “Boyfriend” debuted at No.2 on the charts.
