Justin Timberlake’s grandmother, Sadie Bomar, is doing rumor control. Last week, reports surfaced that Justin Timberlake had proposed to his on/off girlfriend, Jessica Biel. According to Granny Bomar, this rumor is TRUE.

“He called me on Christmas Day and told me he's engaged,” she told Gossip Cop, adding that Timberlake told her to keep quiet about things "until after the holidays."

Bomar added that she's "so happy" for the couple and that Biel has the Timberlake seal of approval. "The family loves Jessie," she said. "She's a very sweet girl."

Sadie also confirmed the news to Wendy Williams. Why am I not surprised? Wendy Williams could get anyone to open up about anything. You had me at ‘How YOU doin’!

“Michael Newborn, from our Hot Topics team, called Justin’s grandmother, Sadie, down in Tennessee,” Wendy told her studio audience. “And as grandmother’s go, they’re really excited to talk to anybody. And they’re a little bit older, so they don’t realize that maybe they shouldn’t be talking…”

Translate: Yes, we took advantage of a little old lady. But we did it for the greater good: celebrity gossip!

Anyway, Bomar had no problem telling Wendy’s staffer: “I think it happened over the Christmas holiday. However, Justin and Jessica wanted to enjoy the holiday in peace, so they didn’t want to put it out there.”

So what about the wedding plans?

"They don't know if the wedding will be in Memphis or Colorado, it's all very new they haven't made any plans yet,” Sadie said.
