The “Mirrors” singer is apparently on a quest to rename 2013 “the year of Justin Timberlake.”
JT has announced big news on Twitter Friday morning: He’ll be making a summer stadium tour with Jay-Z across the U.S. Appropriately, the trek is dubbed: “Legends of the Summer: Stadium Tour.”
A message on Timberlake’s official website reads: “It’s official folks! Justin will be hitting the road this summer with JAY Z…”
The tour—which will stop, as the name suggests, exclusively at massive sports arenas—kicks off on July 17 and will stretch through August 16, where it wraps in Miami, FL.
Dates and cities for the big event include:
July 17 Toronto, ON Rogers Centre
July 19 New York, NY Yankee Stadium**
July 22 Chicago, IL Soldier Field
July 26 San Francisco, CA Candlestick Park
July 28 Los Angeles, CA Rose Bowl
July 31 Vancouver, BC BC Place Stadium
August 4 Hershey, PA Hershey Stadium
August 6 Detroit, MI Ford Field
August 8 Baltimore, MD M&T Bank Stadium
August 10 Boston, MA Fenway Park
August 13 Philadelphia, PA Citizens Bank Park
August 16 Miami, FL Sun Life Stadium
Mark your calendars for February 28, though, as that’s when tickets will go on sale. There’s also an RSVP option for the day before.
It was recently announced that Timberlake would take a five-night residency as a guest on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Leading up to it, he’ll make his fifth appearance on “SNL” as a musical guest and host.
Timberlake’s forthcoming album The 20/20 Experience, which has one of the most epic promotional campaigns of all time, arrives on March 19.
