Why Justin Timberlake is the Most Selfless Male Artist in Pop

For the betterment of pop music critique and water cooler conferences everywhere, Stereotude has meticulously studied recent LPs from five leading crooners who make living vocally melting female hearts. The idea was to uncover who loves “You” the most. Our subjects in this study included Justin Bieber, Miguel, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Usher.

Using lyrics alone—specially the words “you” and “me,” and even more specifically the ratio of which “you” to “me” are used—we determined that Timberlake is the most selfless male artist in pop music today.

Verses from his album The 20/20 Experience like “Aren't you somethin' to admire?” and “You’re my drug,” along with the data seen below, prove that J.T. is always putting his listeners first. Listeners who, rightly so, daydream that the Tennessee stallion is talking directly to them in his songs.
