Kanye Debuts New Music Video For Welcome To Heartbreak

Is Kanye West going through a dark time right now? He just released the music video for Welcome To Heartbreak, and it’s pretty dark. The song has a great beat, but the subject matter is pretty heavy.

Kanye collaborated with director Nabil Elderkin for the video, creating a futuristic hypercolor sequence in which the images all blend in together.

Kanye was planning on perhaps releasing a video for his next single, Amazing, before this one, but was worried someone had ripped off their idea.

He says, "This is the video we've been working on for the last month. We know there is another video out there using the same technique so we were forced to drop it now."
