America’s #1 DJ Kaskade has just announced his “Freaks of Nature” Summer 2012 tour.
This will be the biggest tour of his career with him visiting more than 50 North American venues, including stops at music festivals like Coachella and ULTRA Music Festival.
So far Kaskade has announced 35 of the 50 tour dates. It kicks off on May 25 and ends in August.
“It’s the most ambitious tour I’ve ever done,” Kaskade reveals in a press release, “Just the number of cities and the actual stage set I’m taking on the road in itself is an unprecedented feat for me. People who’ve seen me before will never have seen this and for those who have yet to see me, it’ll only enhance the experience that much more.”
DJ Times has named Kaskade the #1 DJ in America. The New York Times calls him the “new face of electronic dance music,” and he isn’t slowing down yet.
The latest single of his new album Fire & Ice was one of the most hotly anticipated cuts. The song, “Room For Happiness” featured pop songstress Skylar Grey and shows a dark haunting version of a Kaskade dance track.
Kaskade’s live show is being called a “jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wife, three-story tall LED screen that blares images synched with music.”
Kaskade currently has a monthly residency at Marquee in Las Vegas, which he’ll continue throughout the tour.
