Today, pop songstress Katy Perry offered up a music video for her new single off of PRISM entitled "Unconditionally." The mood of the entire production is a complete departure from Perry's single "Roar," which debuted two months ago. The imagery is earnest and decadent, casting a song about commitment with lofty and somber images.
But one thing's clear: Perry loves animals. In her music video for "Roar," the pop singer monkeyed around with, well, a monkey. Now for her "Unconditionally" video, she embraces a more graceful, elegant creature: an owl. The hooter fits right in with the video's Victorian images and costumes. The soon-to-be enormous music video also features the singer crooning in the snow, crooning in the center of some formal dancing, and crooning before a gigantic chandelier.
We can't make heads or tails of the burning bed, though. Although the song's lyrics are optimistic, the video's images are somber and disastrous. Watch it unfold below.
