Child beauty pageants have been a (creepy) part of American culture for decades. Dance competitions in which sexuality and aggression are central are also common -- think B-girls or twerking. When you stick 'em both together, though, people get a little weirded out. Below is a video of Kaycee Rice, an immensely talented 10 year old girl. The video shows a routine that won her 1st place in a hip hop dance competition.
The questions at hand: Is this little girl a badass? Is she being exploited? Or both? Is this okay? Do you feel weird? Icky?
The video has divided opinion around the Stereotude offices, so let us know what you think.
