Ke$ha is an animal! The 22-year-old singer’s debut album Animal has just hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts.

Ke$ha has bumped Susan Boyle from her throne, who had been enjoying a six-week reign at the top spot. Animal has sold 151,942 copies, while I Dreamed a Dream fell to 93,000.

Ke$ha tweeted recently about people knowing her music, saying, “Ironic that the obnoxious little devil babies sitting behind me on the plane started singing ‘TiK ToK’ after spilling soup in my hair.”

Ke$ha is the first act to simultaneously take its debut album and single to No. 1 on both charts since Leona Lewis led the lists with "Spirit" and "Bleeding Love," respectively, on the chart dated April 26, 2008.

Her other songs on the album are doing well also—“Blah Blah Blah” featuring 3OH!3 is currently at No. 2 with 206,000 downloads, "Your Love Is My Drug" has 101,000 and "Take It Off" has 36,000.

She just shot the music video for her new single in L.A., and is currently in NYC to tape performances on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and Wendy Williams. Sounds like she’s on the fast track! Congrats, Ke$ha!
