Kings of Leon Cancels U.S. Tour

It was reported earlier that the Kings of Leon abruptly ended their Dallas show and then had to cancel their Houston show the next night. But fans were reassured that the band would return in September to make up the shows they had to cancel in Texas.

Now, it’s being reported that Kings of Leon are cancelling their entire US tour. Ticketholders will just be sent a refund, no new concerts.

“We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are cancelling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion,” says a statement.

Here’s the story in a nutshell. The band performed on Saturday in Dallas. Lead singer Caleb walked offstage after saying his voice sucked and said he needed to go vomit and that it was too hot out. He never returned to the stage, fans were upset yada yada the other band members apologized on Caleb’s behalf yada yada. Show’s cancelled. Sorry folks, time to go home.

Basically, Calebs’s walk-out was blamed on heat exhaustion ruining his vocal chords.

However, bandmate Jared took to twitter and said, “I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.”

What could these “bigger” problems be? Could it possibly rhyme with TRUGS?

“The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break,” said the statement.
