Pop singer Kylie Minogue was inducted into the Australian Record Industry Association (Aria) Hall of fame. Minogue has sold over 68 million records, with her singles shooting to the top of Australian and British pop charts. She even managed to transition her overseas fame to the States, something that's not easy to do. Especially without the help of Simon Cowell.
At the Awards ceremony in Sydney, Australia, Minogue said she was "a very proud Australian."
"I just want to let all of you know and everyone at home, that Australia I love you and I thank you very much," Minogue said.
She was inducted by music journalist Molly Meldrum as well as the Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard.

Kylie is such a huge fan of Brit's, she's ready to go in the studio and work on a kick ass collaboration with her.
Kylie said, "I'm sure it would be a great thing. I think she's great. I've met her before and we've worked with some of the same people who help put our tours together."
Kylie has been tweeting up a storm about Brit's songs recently, so it's no secret she's a big fan.
"I tweeted that because there's a song from the deluxe edition, 'He About To Lose Me', that's in my head before I go to sleep. I play it off my computer when I'm here [in my dressing room] and I just wanted to say I am excited about it. She was glad to hear it!"
I'm all for this one! Maybe this way Britney's songs will sound a tad different. Seriously, love the girl, but every damn song sounds like the last one. Time to get out of The Zone, Brit!
