rocked the Grammy's on Sunday night picking up Best Song and Best Record for “Need You Now.” And if anyone deserves the praise, it's them!
The band was very emotional backstage while talking to reporters. "We wanted to make Nashville and the country community proud," they said.
Country music certainly dominated the show last night and Lady Antebellum couldn't have been more proud to be apart of the show. "It shows country music is relevant and relatable," they told reporters.
Lead singer Hillary Scott added, "The first words to come to mind is 'blessed' and 'abundance', last year was the best year of our life...This is just inspiring us to work harder and create better music."
So how did they come up with the bands name? "We were taking pictures in front of this Antebellum home...Sounds very southern we put lady in front of it."
At the rate they're going they're going to need to put up new shelves in their homes, because there's a ton of trophies coming their way. Congrats to the band!
