Lady Gaga has always been vocal about her loyalty to the gay community, so when Prop 8 was overturned yesterday, she was one of the celebrities who exclaimed their joy.
Gaga is taking it a step further though, and infusing it into her music. She says the overturning of the gay marriage ban has inspired her to write new music.
She wrote on both her Facebook and Twitter pages, "At the moments notice of PROP 8 DEATH I instantly began to write music. BUBBLE DREAMS FOREVER! FULL EQUALITY! THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING! REJOICE and CELEBRATE gay communities and straight all over the world. Our voices are being heard! Loud! SCREAM LOUD AMERICANOS!"
Even her latest music video for “Alejandro” pays homage to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. "It is a celebration of my love and appreciation for the gay community, my admiration of their bravery, their love for one another and their courage in their relationships," she told Larry King recently.
Good for Gaga! Anything she writes turns to gold!
