Before you lose it over Beyoncé (if you aren’t already!) performing at this February’s Super Bowl Half Time show, here’s another treat for you: Lil Wayne.
The rap superstar will perform at “GQ” magazine’s annual Super Bowl party this February 2.
It’ll be in New Orleans, which is perfect for Wayne who’s a New Orleans native. “I am thrilled to partner with GQ, a publication that has long supported me, for this year’s party,” Lil Wayne said.
It’s an invite-only event, but will be scoping Twitter to get updates from the inside of what shenanigans and pre-gaming Wayne himself and his fans are getting into. He’ll raise the roof of the historic Elm’s Mansion on St. Charles Avenue in the city’s Garden District and he’s confident it’ll be more than a good time. “I ain’t got not worries that this will be the best Super Bowl party ever,” he said, channeling the confidence of a Super Bowl competing football player for either team.
Lil Wayne joins the roster of GQ party performers from previous seasons which include Cee Lo Green and LL Cool J.
