Lily Allen Is Giving Her New Album Out For $3.99

This is a deal if we’ve ever heard of one! Lily Allen understands times are tough, but even in sticky economic times, people like to hear good music! So she’s teamed up with Amazon and Myspace music to give her fans the deal of the year!

You’ll be able to purchase her entire album, It’s Not Me, It’s You for only $3.99! The record drops Tuesday, February 16th. And just based on The Fear alone, we know this album might even trump her last one, which was amazing.

In addition to the low cost of the CD, Lily is also putting on a couple of free shows in different cities. She’ll be hitting London, New York, and Tokyo. We know the NY show will be held at the Bowery Ballroom, but you’ll have to check her Myspace for details on the other two shows.

Lily’s not the first artist to try out this technique to sell more albums. The Pussycat Dolls and Dierks Bentley have also offered their CDs for $3.99 on MySpace Music in the initial days of the albums' release. Kanye West and the Killers recently had their discs available on iTunes for $4.99. We’ll have to see if it works!
