Would you brave the torrential rains of New York City to see Madonna live in concert?
Apparently stars like Mila Kunis, Alicia Keys, Leonardo DiCaprio, Anderson Cooper, and Lucy Liu would.
Mila Kunis proved she’s no “Material Girl” and had no problem covering up whatever awesome designer garb she was rocking—hitting up Yankee Stadium in a poncho.
Boyfriend Ashton Kutcher wasn’t an accessory on her arm when she took her seat around 10:20pm, minutes before Madge took to the stage for an audience of 40,000 fans.
Instead Mila spent the night with two male friends and posing for photos with fans.
Stars in attendance were treated to a particularly topical performance.
As Barack Obama officially accepted his nomination at the Democratic National Convention, pop music’s commander-in-chief revealed her own official endorsement for the president.
“Thank God for Michelle Obama and her good-looking husband too,” Madonna said into the crowd after ripping off her shirt and revealing the words “OBAMA” temporarily tattoo painted on her back side in all capital letters.
Madonna continued her political train of thought by voicing support to Pussy Riot, the Russian feminist punk rock group who were sentenced to two years in prison for an anti-Vladimir Putin song the women performed in a Russian cathedral.
“It made me realize how lucky I am to be living in America,” the provocative singer said. “We are free. Do not, do not, do not take this freedom for granted because if you do for one second, you will lose it.”
