Elton John's Husband Fake Apologizes to Madonna

Forget rap feuds, it’s all about the beef between Madonna and Elton John’s husband David Furnish. It’s waaay better, because it’s one sided, more b-tchy, and Furnish is throwing around empty apologies.

David has been spitting some crazy Madonna hate lately ever since she won the Golden Globe for best song and Elton John did not. The internet is basically shutting down in order to keep up with everything he’s spewing. Now, he’s issued a kind-of apology to Madonna on his facebook.

“Wow! What a tempest in a teapot!” he writes.

Uh, okay, what does that even mean? Alright I looked it up and it means, something that has been blown out of proportion. That makes sense, must be a British thing, moving on.

“My comments regarding The Golden Globes have been blown way out of proportion,” says Furnish, “My passion for our film ‘Gnomeo & Juliet’ and belief in Elton’s song really got my emotional juices going. But I must say for the record that I do believe Madonna is a great artist, and that Elton and I wish her all the best for next week’s premiere of the film ‘W.E.’”
But does he though?

This is in stark contrast to what Furnish originally wrote about Madonna on his facebook.

On Monday he wrote, “Madonna. Best song??? F-ck off!!!”

Wow, tell us how you really feel?

He did actually. He went on to write, “Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it’s narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is.”
