This is something you Mariah Carey fans have to see! She and The Dream have just released their music video for My Love. And more impressively, it was directed by Nick Cannon! So this is their second collaboration together as a married couple.

The husband-wife thing seems to be working on a personal and on a business level for these two! They’ve certainly proved us wrong!

We’ve been seeing Mariah branch out to play more gritty roles lately with her film career, and that’s exactly what she does in this video. She plays the girlfriend of a guy who can’t seem to make ends meet.

He leaves her, and ends up becoming a huge star, while Mariah’s character stays in the same neighborhood. Mariah is really able to show her musical range in the song, which is why we all love her in the first place. We think you’ll like it! It’s a great precursor to Mimi’s new album MC3, which we hear is well underway!
