Mariah Releases Three Versions of New Single, Just in Case

Mariah Carey can’t really make up her mind. In an effort to appeal to everyone, she’s released three versions of her newest single “Triumphant (Get ‘Em),” featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill. Along with the regular hip-hop mix of the song, a “vintage throwback remix” and a “pulse club mix” were also released on her website.

Randy Jackson, Mariah’s manager, said of the three versions: "The vintage throwback mix will remind fans of remixes she did years ago, and she's had a lot of Billboard No. 1 dance hits as well.

She went in and re-sang the vocals, knowing that the two verses on this first version of this single with Meek and Ross were going to be hip-hop verses where people were rapping. We wanted to have something for all of her fans."

Mariah’s been extremely busy of late, what with the infant twins and the movie filming and the new album and video and singles and American Idol gig. She’s also already shot a retro themed video for “Triumphant,” shot by husband Nick Cannon, that will be released soon.

As for the album, to be released next March, Jackson said “The album is going to be one of the great Mariah Carey albums," he says, "with a lot of stuff that you've come to love about her over the years."

If you can’t wait that long, head over to iTunes or Mariah’s site to download the three-track EP of “Triumphant”!
