"Mary J. Blige & Jay-Z: Heart of the City" Tour Announced

Expect one of the best tours of 2008 to be Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige who have just announced a 2-date North American tour that kicks off on March 22 in Miami.

The tour will be called "Mary J. Blige & Jay-Z: Heart of the City," and the press release stated that it will be "the first time in more than 15 years that African American male/female [artists] of this stature have co-headlined a national concert tour."

The current Heart of the City tour dates, according to the press release:

· 3/22 - Miami, FL @ American Airlines Arena
· 3/26 - Baltimore, MD @ 1st Mariner Arena
· 3/27 - Uniondale, NY @ Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum
· 3/28 - East Rutherford, NJ @ Izod Center
· 3/30 - Philadelphia, PA @ Wachovia Center
· 4/2 - Toronto, ON @ Air Canada Centre
· 4/3 - Boston, MA @ TD Banknorth Garden
· 4/5 - Greensboro, NC @ Greensboro Coliseum
· 4/6 - Washington, DC @ Verizon Center
· 4/16 - Los Angeles, CA @ Hollywood Bowl
