Singer-songwriter Masha is a fresh face in the music scene but with an old soul. “I can’t remember a time when I didn’t sing,” she says in a statement. “When I was little, I sang along with the radio. People like Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, and Christina Aguilera attracted me, strong women who could really belt it out.” The artist went on to belt in out herself with a sound that demonstates a country heart, rock soul and independent mind.
She learned to play piano and guitar at a young age. Today, the 23-year-old describes her sound as "dirty, grungy, and full of contradictions." Stereotude is premiering Masha's live and acoustic video "Ugly."
Masha's EP Stupid, Stupid Dreams includes four original songs. It was co-produced by longtime Taylor Swift producer/Grammy winner Nathan Chapman and multi-Grammy nominated songwriter/producer Claude Kelly (Bruno Mars and Britney Spears).
