Janet Jackson is performing three dates later this week at the Royal Albert Hall in London and fans of her late brother, Michael Jackson, will be treated to a virtual duo by the two.
The siblings will virtually perform their 1995 hit, “Scream.” No word yet on how the performance will be constructed but if you remember the Michael Jackson Tribute on the 2009 VMA’s, it was pretty awesome just seeing Janet and Michael dance side by side via screen and stage.
Not only will fans scream for “Scream,” but Janet will benefit from the performance, “It’s therapeutic, you know and it makes me smile inside. I mean the energy of the song is fierce but it makes me smile inside when I hear him, when I hear his voice.”
Michael passed away just weeks before he was supposed to begin a London residency gig.
However, this is not Janet’s first time performing at this venue. She last performed at Royal Albert Hall and suffered a wardrobe malfunction. “I performed ‘Rhythm Nation’ there, in front of Her Majesty the Queen and on stage I split my pants. I bent over and I ripped my pants right down the middle, right in the middle of dancing but I had to finish the song. So my booty is hanging out but what can you do, it was so embarrassing.”
