Three very special guests may be a part of next week’s Grammy Awards. Sources tell E! that Michael Jackson’s children Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket may be a part of the ceremony somehow.
Grammy producers are reportedly making last-minute efforts to have the kids be a part of the tribute for their late father, which will feature a 3-D mini-movie set to Jackson's "Earth Song.” "They've been working on everything from them singing to just making an appearance,” says the source.
Show sources say they aren’t aware of the participation of the Jackson children, and a family rep couldn't be reached for comment. But we would expect for this type of thing to be kept under wraps.
A source close to the Jackson family does say however that the children "might" be there. The source confirms that several members of the Jackson family, including father Joe, are scheduled to attend the Grammys.
"They might go, but Kate [Kathryn, their grandmother] is very protective of having them in front of the cameras, so I doubt they will walk the carpet," says the source.
This would be a great event for the children to attend or be a part of, especially since Michael is being posthumously honored.
