Miley Cyrus Banned from Performing in the Dominican Republic

Miley Cyrus is too "vulgar" to perform in the Dominican Republic.

Say what? 

Yes. The Dominican Republic government has banned Miley Cyrus from performing in Santo Domingo on September 13.

In a statement released yesterday, the government declared that Miley "undertakes acts that go against morals and customs which are punishable by Dominican law." They went on to state that Miley's costumes are inappropriate, and the language she uses alludes to crime.

Maybe they're talking about that one time when Miley made jokes about date rape? Or the time she smoked weed on stage?

This isn't the first time that the Dominican Republic has banned "vulgar" musicians. In the past, the government has restricted songs that they consider inappropriate and offensive, like songs from Calle 13
