If you could bottle the intensity produced by 100,000+ people doing the Psy horse-gallop dance simultaneously, we might be able to solve the world energy crisis. Get on it, G.E.

Yesterday at 10 p.m., the most surprising international hit since the turn of the Common Era, Psy made his way to the center of the universe (Seoul, South Korea) where he obediently made over 100,000 fans lose their sh*t.

The free concert had tons of urban dwellers of all stripes going gaga for “Gangnam” and it reportedly cost the city 400 million won (~$359,000) because moving picture evidence of a generation looking this ridiculous is always money well spent.

The phenomenal turnout in Seoul Plaza, which was announced to little publicity just a few days before, where Psy put on a pair of dark sunglasses and told the audience, “I have no idea how many people are actually here, but the horse-riding dance that will be done here tonight is going into the Guinness Book of Records.” Hmm, World Record for Most People Fainting At Once with More Exhaustion than a P90X Workout?

Psy gave an encore performance because it’s just way too addictive to shake off with just one dance number. The 34-year-old sensation encouraged the legion of fans to sign the first verse as he followed it up with the second. It was part of a two hour concert that was broadcasted live across the globe via a website close to the singer-rapper’s heart: YouTube.
