Newly married Katy Perry has just released her brand new music video for her single “Firework.”
She announced the news via her Twitter page, writing, "Who's ready to see #FIREWORK!!! I've got it for you, I'm so proud to present. I am officially dedicating my new video to #itgetsbetter, because everyone has the spark to be a FIREWORK."
So cool of her! The "It Gets Better" campaign lends support to young gay people who have been bullied.
Last month, Katy talked about doing videos for her new album, saying, "I guess I'm looking forward to making music videos on this new album ... and I'm really excited about incorporating the look and the idea of some of the songs on tour and making a massive production of it. I'm gonna want a lot of visuals. I want it to be 10 times better than when I was on tour last."
"I think 'Firework' ... would be like the opus or my one song — if I had to pick a song to play," she added. "'Cause it has a great beat. But it also has a fantastic message."
