My Crazy Girlfriend is a pop band to keep on your radar.
The four band members are Myah, Cosmo, and fraternal twins Justyn and Bennett Armstrong. They once pursued separate paths, but magic happened when they merged to create the group. With influences like Alanis Morrisette, No Doubt, and Green Day, MCG added hip-hop flare to come up with a genre-mashing sound of their own.
"We wanted to come up with something that's new but timeless, and that's why we wanted the majority of our stuff to be organic based and have organic elements," Justyn says.
Stereotude is premiering the lyric video for MCG's "Go F**k Yourself." The songs is a sarcastic and fun ode to exes everywhere, with a wicked beat. Myah describes the track as "sweet and charming." In a statement, she shares what sets this video apart from the rest: "It was our idea to incorporate a modern, interactive photo sharing app feel, so it was awesome to see our vision come to life! We wanted to do something different than the average lyric video and we thought it'd be fun to be able to showcase some of our personal pictures along with the song."
