Tearful Ne-Yo Forced to End Concert Early Due to Illness

It’s hard to perform in front of a full house when you’re not feeling your best! A visibly ill Ne-Yo was reduced to tears onstage in Manchester last night after having to quit his set about an hour into the show. Poor guy!

The R&B star was clearly not happy depriving his fans of what they came to see, as he shared his remorse to his adoring fans. “I’ve never not completed a show- I’ve never done this before,” he stated as he tipped his hat and wiped his tears. ”I want to say…I want to thank y’all for bearing with me as long as y’all did, I appreciate that.”

He also assured his fans that despite having to ditch out on them early, he would make up for it. He told the crowd, “Trust me when I say I will be back. I love y’all.”

The video makes it clear that he was sincerely ill, and felt horrible for having to leave the stage. We wish Ne-Yo a full recovery! Hopefully he’ll be back up and running soon, and go back to charming fans once more! Check out the video below:
