Nick Cannon: I'll Die if I Don't Stop Working

Nick Cannon has admitted that if he doesn’t stop working so much he might die. Call it melodramatic or the sad truth but Cannon has quit his radio show today.

Nick told his audiences on his morning radio show that he was hospitalized on Friday after doctors found blood clots in his lungs and an enlarged ventricle in his heart.

“The Doctors found blood clots in my lungs and said if I don’t slow down and stop working so hard then it’s a wrap!” says Cannon.

And by “it’s a wrap” he means....dun dun dun…

However, he wont leave his gig as host of “American’s Got Talent” because let’s face it, his 6 month old kids aren’t going to feed themselves.

“Under doctor’s orders, I have been asked to cut back on some of my professional commitments to allow my body to get the rest it needs to keep up with the demands of my multitasking schedule,” says Cannon.

He goes on to add, “Even Superman has to sleep.”

But does he though? I was under the impression that Superman was Superman when everyone else was sleeping? Eh, whatever.

This isn’t Nick Cannon’s first health scare, he was hospitalized in January for mild kidney failure, which Cannon says was pretty serious.

“We think it’s a little more serious than a kidney infection…Not just one – not just the one that was in pain – both of them weren’t functioning right. My immune system started to attack my kidneys…and my kidneys pretty much failed.”
