Nick Carter Still Going on Tour With Backstreet Boys Despite Sister's Death

The Carter family was blindsided by devastating news when they found out that Aaron and Nick Carter’s sister Leslie Carter suddenly passed.

  Nobody know what happened to 25-year-old Leslie Carter and a source close to the family says they don’t even know what happened to Leslie Carter last night.  

“The family legitimately doesn’t know what happened,” a source reveals to Us Weekly, “They’re still trying to find out.”  

24-year-old Aaron Carter is “completely blindsided” by the news but older bro Nick Carter may be in mourning, but is apparently going headfirst into his US tour with the Backstreet Boys.  

“Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform,” says Nick.  

Many are shocked that he isn’t pulling out of his performing duties and Nick is expected to perform as early as tomorrow at Irving Plaza on New York.  

Leslie was an artist like her brothers, her song “Like Wow!” was featured in the movie Shrek. She also appeared on the family’s 2006 reality show, “House of Carters.”  

However, before her death, she put Hollywood on the backburner and settled down with her husband Mike Ashton and their 10 month old daughter Alyssa.

“She loved her family, she loved her baby,” says the source, “She was happy stepping away from the show business and just living happily with her family in Canada.”
