After rumors that Adele would be opening the Grammys, we can definitely confirm that Nicki Minaj, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Jason Aldean will all be performing at music's biggest awards show.
Let's run down this line-up so far. This is Nicki Minaj's first time performing at the Grammys, according to this official tweet from The Grammys, "Happy to welcome @nickiminaj as a first-time performer n our GRAMMY Awards stage on Feb 12! #GRAMMYs."
Nicki is up for four awards including Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance for "Moment 4 Life" and Also Best Rap Album for Pink Friday. But really, what is she going to perform? Will she perform her new single with David Guetta "Turn Me On"? Or will she do one of her new singles off her upcoming "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" album, like "Stupid Hoe" or "Roman in Moscow?"
Also Jason Aldean is making his Grammy performance debut, maybe he will perform his duet with Kelly Clarkson on "Don't You Wanna Stay." Fingers crossed!
Taylor Swift is returning to the Grammy stage and is also up for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. Maybe she'll debut new music, since it's bee so long since she released a single. Or maybe she'll also duet with country star Jason Aldean? So many possibilities!
Bruno Mars is up for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Album Of The Year, so obviously he's going to have a good night, and thankfully for us we'll be treated to his soulful crooning. I hope he performs "It Will Rain."
The Foo Fighters are also scheduled to perform, but these guys are total Grammy veterans and are also nominated for Album of The Year, Best Rock Performance, and Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.
The 54th annual Grammy awards will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 12 at 8pm.
