UK boy band One Direction has been invited by the First Lady herself to come to the White House for Easter. Oh stop my beating heart!
Anyways, One Direction is composed of five 19-year-old’s from the UK with floppy hair and cute blazers, and they performed at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards this weekend where they met Michelle Obama and her daughters Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10.
The Obama women enjoyed the Nick Awards show and liked the boy banders so much, a source told the Sun, “[Michelle] invited them to the White House of their annual Easter egg hunt on Easter Monday. It was such an honor.”
However, the band has to perform in Australia that day and told her, “They’d love to go another time.”
Apparently the Obamas and New Direction chatted backstage and Harry asked Michelle how they order pizza when you live in the white-house and Michelle replied, “You don’t.”
Liam rated Michelle an 11 out of 10 saying, “She’s a very classy woman, very elegant.”
Last week, One Direction’s debut album “Up All Night” entered the US charts at the number one spot and Niall was so excited he frightened a cab driver with his screaming, probably also because their voices sound like little girls.
“I was just screaming down the phone and frightened the life out of the cab driver!” says Niall, “I had to explain the situation, because he looked at me like, ‘Get out of my cab!’ but I was shocked and shaking.”
